Use a simulation to test behaviour before considering hardware.
Original Kidemy beginner self-study unit · Learn the idea, try the practical activity and review your written answers. Review your project with a guardian or teacher using the criteria below. Teacher-led course approval and booking are separate.
A simulation models selected features of a real system. Our grid models position, direction, blocked squares and a target. It does not model wheel grip, battery level or every real obstacle. A successful simulated route is useful evidence about the instructions, not proof that a physical robot will behave identically.
If the grid blocks a square, a forward command leaves the robot in its current square and explains why. Revise the route around the obstacle, then reset and test again.
This is a practice model. It does not change your Kidemy coins or school grades. Use the buttons to test one instruction at a time.
Show your working on paper and enter your answer here. If it does not match, compare the model and try again.
