Solve fraction, ratio and percentage problems with the correct base.
Original Model Test for Exam unit. These questions and suggested practice times are independent Kidemy material, not an official or past paper. Choose modules for the target programme; all listed subjects are not required for every applicant.
Convert quantities into compatible units before combining them. A percentage increase is measured against the original value. Ratio shares divide a total into the stated number of parts. For fractions, the denominator defines part size and must be handled through equivalent fractions.
Share 84 in ratio 3:4: total parts 7, one part 12, shares 36 and 48. Increasing 200 by 15% gives 230. A later 15% decrease uses 230 as its base.
