Guided recitation and individual feedback

Use a supervised recitation plan and keep useful feedback.

Original Kidemy beginner self-study unit · Learn the idea, try the practical activity and review your written answers. A qualified Quran teacher must review your reading and recitation. Teacher-led course approval and booking are separate.

Learn the idea

Choose a short passage with a qualified teacher. Begin with a model, practise a manageable part, receive specific feedback and repeat that part before joining the passage. Track what you practised rather than awarding yourself an automatic recitation grade.

Worked example

A practice note can say: “Passage: Al-Ikhlas 112:1. Focus: one letter and the ending pause. Teacher feedback: repeat the corrected sound, then read the complete verse again.”

  1. Record the passage reference and one focus skill.
  2. Listen and practise before seeking a new passage.
  3. Keep teacher feedback separate from written answer-key matches.

I practised the verse twice with my teacher and still need help with one letter.
