Class 7 · Bangla Version · Mathematics

Number, fractions, decimals and percentages

Combine rational-number operations and changes of a percentage base.

About this lesson and its coverage

Original Kidemy Class 7 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

Use brackets and multiplication before addition. Divide by a fraction by multiplying by its reciprocal when the divisor is nonzero. A price change uses the price before that change as its base.

Worked example

3/4÷1/2=3/2. A 100-taka price raised10% becomes110; a 10% fall from 110 gives 99.

  1. Identify the quantities and restrictions.
  2. Show a method with units or symbols.
  3. Check and explain the result.

Compare two percentage changes on paper and explain why the bases matter.

Review with a guardian or teacher

  • Use the stated evidence or givens.
  • Show reasoning rather than only a result.
  • Review and explain one correction.
