Class 7 · Bangla Version · English

Grammar, sentence structure and editing

Use relative clauses and choose an unambiguous pronoun.

Original Kidemy Class 7 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

A relative clause adds information about a noun. A defining clause identifies which person or thing is meant. A pronoun should point clearly to a referent; two nearby names can make he or she ambiguous.

Worked example

The pupil who found the bag took it to reception. “Rafi told Sam he was late” is unclear about who was late.

  1. Read the text and identify the purpose.
  2. Support your answer with a specific detail.
  3. Revise meaning, structure and accuracy.
