Class 12 · Bangla Version · English

Vocabulary and language in context

Use analytical language that distinguishes description, inference and evaluation.

Original Kidemy Class 12 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

A description reports what is present; an inference reasons beyond it; evaluation judges its significance by a criterion. Terms such as significant can mean important in ordinary language or a defined result of a statistical test. State the meaning rather than using it as decoration.

Worked example

“The score rose” describes a change. “The workshop caused it” is a causal inference. “The change is educationally useful” needs a criterion of useful improvement.
