Many Arabic letters change appearance when joined. Read the letters in word order, beginning at the right. Some letters, including alif, can receive a join from the preceding letter but do not connect to the following letter in the word.
ب + ا + ب forms باب, meaning door. The alif does not join to the final bāʾ. A visual gap caused by a non-joining letter is not automatically a word space.
Roman and Bangla guides are approximate aids. A qualified teacher should demonstrate the Arabic sounds and review your reading.

Make a letter-by-letter copy and a whole-word copy of باب. Mark the alif connection break.
