Paragraphs, essays and functional writing

Develop an argument with a fair counterargument and a qualified conclusion.

Original Kidemy Class 9 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

An argument needs a claim, relevant support and a chain explaining why the support matters. A counterargument should be represented fairly. A conclusion can recommend a trial or a conditional decision when evidence is incomplete.

Worked example

A homework club may provide study space, but transport home could be difficult. A limited early-afternoon trial with attendance and travel feedback could test whether the benefit is practical.
