Speaking, listening and presentation

Present a comparison and respond to a specific question.

Original Kidemy Class 8 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

A comparison needs the same criteria for both options. Listening carefully means responding to the actual question, not a memorised speech. A useful answer may say what is unknown and how it could be checked.

Worked example

Option A meets twice a week for 30 minutes; B meets once for 60 minutes. Total time matches, but spacing, travel and feedback opportunities differ.

  1. Read the text and identify the purpose.
  2. Support your answer with a specific detail.
  3. Revise meaning, structure and accuracy.
