Grammar, sentence structure and editing

Use tense and agreement consistently across connected sentences.

Original Kidemy Class 6 progression. This level has its own text, examples and questions. Curriculum versions share the progression; complete board-specific coverage still needs specification matching and additional material.

Learn the idea

A subject determines agreement, while time words guide tense. A phrase between subject and verb does not change the subject’s number. After does or did, use the base form of the main verb.

Worked example

The bag of books is heavy. Yesterday Mina carried it. She does not carry it every day.

  1. Read the text and identify the purpose.
  2. Support your answer with a specific detail.
  3. Revise meaning, structure and accuracy.
